Terms of use
Informational only
ReceiptClock publishes summaries of retailer return and warranty practices for general information. We are not Amazon, Walmart, Target, Costco, Best Buy, or any other retailer, and we are not their agent.
Retailer policies change. Always confirm return eligibility, deadlines, fees, and procedures with the store — on your order page, receipt, or their official policy — before you ship, drive, or discard anything.
No professional advice
Nothing on this site is legal, financial, or consumer-rights advice tailored to you. The calculator and guides are simplified estimates that can be incomplete or outdated.
Accuracy
We try to research official sources and note a “last checked” date on guides. We do not guarantee completeness or accuracy. If something looks wrong, trust the retailer and tell us so we can fix the page.
Paid product
The $9 tracker is not yet for sale (“Coming soon”). When it launches, additional product terms and a privacy policy will apply to accounts and payments. Purchases are intended as a one-time fee for reminder features as described at checkout — not a guarantee that any specific return will be accepted by a retailer.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site (scraping that harms the service, attempting to break security, or using content in ways that violate law). Guide text may be quoted with attribution for personal, non-commercial use; wholesale copying for a competing product needs our written permission.
Disclaimer of warranties & liability
The site is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for missed return windows, denied returns, fees charged by retailers, or decisions you make based on our content or tools.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date above will change when we do. If you disagree with new terms, stop using the site.
Contact
Support contact details will appear with the paid product. Until then, treat this site as a free informational resource only.
